IndieServer Forge Server

IndieServer Forge Server is the home toolset of all projects hosted by IndieZone and Darkhand Studio and taking benefit of IndieServer toolsets. Only users with a complete subscription scheme in IndieServer will be able to register projects.

Getting Started

Don't get overwhelmed by the huge toolset. Get started by registering and confirming your user account. Then, if needed, register your own project. Once your project is approved, simply visit the project and click on the 'Admin' tab.

  • Edit your trackers, or create new trackers, fields, and values in your fields
  • Edit your 'roles' and 'Observer' settings to set permissions and access levels
  • Add members to your project
  • Plan releases
  • Create tasks in your Task Manager
  • Start writing your code and commit code linked to your defined tasks
  • Build and release code using the File Release System
  • Log defects against the releases
  • Commit changes and link the changes to the defects
  • Start all over again!

 

The IndieServer Team

IndieServer Forge Server is powered by GForge Community Edition. It has an intuitive interface that ties together a huge toolset, from Source Code Management (SCM) to extremely customizable Trackers, Task Managers, Document Managers, Forums. All of these are controlled by a centralized permission system and maintained automatically by the system.

A new demo has been set-up on http://pelorea.indieserver.com with the latest TGEA web plugin technology showing three different demonstrations: card deck book editor, hexagonal map viewer and 3D FPS demonstration. Enjoy it, and do not hesitate to post any issues here.
